HELLO, I'M
THE GIRL WHO BORROWED TOO MUCH
How I rebuilt my life so that I could begin again. I share real stories and gentle guidance for people rebuilding their relationship with money.
ABOUT
I borrowed too much - and it changed my whole world.

I graduated college in May of 2016 carrying more than $80,000 in student loan debt. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what that number would mean for my future. I just knew I had done what I thought I was supposed to do. A few years later, reality hit.

In 2018, I realized that despite making payments, my balances weren’t meaningfully moving. I had paid thousands in interest and barely touched the principal. I remember sitting at my desk, staring at the numbers, and crying quietly before getting back to work like nothing had happened. I told myself this was just “how life worked.” But something didn’t sit right.

Debt wasn’t just a math problem, it was emotional. It shaped my decisions, my confidence, and the way I thought about my future. It felt like a weight I carried everywhere, even when no one else could see it.

So I started learning. Slowly. Imperfectly. I didn’t find a magic solution or an overnight fix, but I did begin to rebuild my relationship with money. Not through extremes, but through consistency, honesty, and a willingness to face what I had been avoiding.

Over time, I paid off roughly $120,000 in student loan debt. More importantly, I learned how to move forward without shame.
This space exists for people who are still in the middle of it. The ones who feel overwhelmed, behind, or quietly stressed about money. I share real stories, reflections, and gentle guidance because I know how isolating this can feel.

If you’re here, you’re not broken. You’re learning. And you don’t have to do it alone.
